“Our suitcase may the journey by Caribbean Airlines from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada to Georgetown, Guyana, South America, then 14 hours by truck to Lethem in the Rupununi Savannahs, a remote area in the south of Guyana.
We delivered our suitcase to the Regional Health Officer, Dr. Rolan Cho-Yee and Dr. Latoya Dyall of the Lethem Regional Hospital.
They were extremely happy to receive the suitcase of supplies as a Surgical Outreach Team of 7 doctors would be visiting the hospital in April.
These supplies will assist the Hospital and clinics in the surrounding Amerindian villages.
A huge “THANK YOU” to NJTT for the opportunity to carry the inaugural suitcase to Guyana, South America.”
