“I am writing to inform you that I have delivered the suitcase successfully. I talked to the locals in Punta Cana and they shared with me that the best hospital to donate the suitcase would be the public hospital in the city of Higuey, called Hospital de Nuestra Señora de La Altagracia. The hospital was 45 min away from Punta Cana, it was very big with a new building being built to extend the hospital. People from very low income come to this hospital and the need was very evident. The director from the hospital was away that day so I got into contact with Sixta Castro who is the subdirector there. She was very excited to receive all the help and said pretty much everything was welcomed.
The experience was amazing and it felt so good to help others. Thank you for allowing me to do this. “
