Not Just Tourists – Manitoba has a traveler story to share. Brianne traveled to Bangkok, Thailand where she dropped off supplies to the Surat Clinic. This is her story:
When I heard about Not Just Tourists, I thought it was a great opportunity to help in an easy way. I had already planned my trip to Thailand, so it was a no brainer. I filled out the form on the Not Just Tourists website, and was quickly contacted to arrange delivery of the suitcase. I unpacked, and repacked the suitcase to check the contents, and off I went to the airport. When I had a free evening, I made my way to the clinic to deliver the bag of supplies. The staff at the clinic remembered when someone from Not Just Tourists delivered a bag last year, and they were very grateful. They thanked me multiple times with big smiles on their faces. The clinic offers doctor services for very low cost to allow wide access. Donations allow this clinic to continue to offer low costs services. I will definitely contact Not Just Tourists on my future trips.
