I had the most amazing trip to Cuba. I had the opportunity to visit more places within the Province of Matanzas and would highly recommend visiting Matanzas City and Cardenas. These two cities are full of history and the most fantastic people.
With the help of my travel guide, Erik Rodriguez, I dropped the medical supplies off at Julio M. Aristegui Villamil in Cardenas and met the director and subdirector. They were happy and grateful for the supplies, and it made me wish I could have brought more and that more people knew about this. This experience represented an opportunity to exercise solidarity towards a country that continues to give to the world when it seems like many forget what they have endured unfairly for decades. This experience was an enormous gift to me.
Thanks for all the work you do to make this possible. This is incredibly important and shows that despite all the madness, people can still work together to be there for others.
