Thank you to Susan for including a suitcase on her trip to Belize! <3 [NJT Toronto]
“We delivered the supplies to a government satellite clinic in Hopkins, Belize. I expected rustic, but it exceeded my expectations. The delivery was not difficult, so not that adventurous.
The clinic is a local outpost for a regional hospital. The building was two stories, making it one the largest in the village. The was a waiting room downstairs. There were beat up wooden benches for seating. It was tight quarters because there were many filing cabinets. They did have a computer, but it was ancient. There were a couple of storage rooms and the medicines they had were in good condition. The examination rooms were upstairs.
We are extremely fortunate to be able to go on a vacation like this. It’s a small thing to bring a suitcase. I like being able to solve more than one problem at once.
