“Our trip to Nicaragua was very special. We worked with a local NGO named Sonati (sonati.org). They are a small group that funds free environmental education for the country. We spent our days as trekking guides and tour guides for a number of excursions around Leon. We spent most days on volcanos and in the jungle trekking and exploring with other travellers.
Our suitcase of medical supplies was delivered to a community outside of Leon. They were very appreciative and surprised of the kind gesture. The community has recently overcome an unfortunate influx of peanut farming and the dust clouds are unbearable there. They were very happy with all the masks that were included for this reason.
Really appreciate all the work you are doing. Keep it up.
Much respect,
Michael”
