“It was a wonderful experience to deliver these much needed medical supplies.
It was easy to find the medical clinic that the locals use after talking to my favorite bartender at our resort. Fortunately one of the doctors was working at the resort the following day. I went and talked to her and she informed me that she was leaving for the clinic in town at 6pm. My husband and I took the taxi with her! Once there we were warmly greeted by the manager of the clinic who is also a doctor. She is the sweet lady on the left hand side of the picture. Her name is Dr. Blanca. The lady in the middle is the doctor that I spoke to at the resort. (Sorry I have forgotten her name).
They were so excited to receive the suitcase full of supplies..they were all smiles and it made my heart full to be able to deliver it. Thank you so much for the experience and hopefully I can take more on my next trip south.
