“We took our suitcase full of medical supplies to a small clinic in a small village on the south-eastern coast of Baja California, somewhere between La Paz and San Jose del Cabo.
It took us a while to figure where to find a suitable clinic and find out how to get there.
Once we got there we needed to find the doctor, but once we did and explained in broken Spanish the purpose of our initiative, he told us in English that his clinic was built with donations, as well as all the equipment.
Their patients typically do not have insurance, so he was very happy to get our gift.
We enjoyed the whole experience, and will certainly reach out again for our next trip to the developing world.
