Thank you to Jen and Terry for delivering two suitcases of medical supplies to the Dominican Republic [NJT Simcoe County].
Jen wrote: “I encourage anyone travelling to a country where these supplies are needed to do so. It’s a small gesture of kindness that we as Canadians can participate in that allows so many people that are less fortunate to be able to have access to these items that are desperately needed. If you have any questions or want to participate in this small act of kindness please reach out to this organization and they will provide you with the necessary supplies and documents that will allow you to get these supplies in the hands of those in need. We took it one step further and travelled to one of the larger local communities in the Dominican where we were given a tour of one of the senior living homes that is run solely on volunteers and without any government funding. These supplies were so much appreciated and I only wish I could have brought more”
