Can you guess by the art that this is also a Cuban children’s hospital? Yes, NJT Vancouver has continued a streak by adding Trinidad to our kida’ list. Actually, this is the children’s wing of Trinidad’s only hospital, housed in a separate building.
NJT Vancouver director Jeannine travelled there to deliver supplies that included Welch + Allyn medical instruments donated by a doctor from Whistler, BC.
You can’t see them but, on the other side of the room were a dozen smiling staff and medical students.
So excited was the senior doctor to receive these gifts, we rushed our shot so he could quickly share items among staff and put them to use immediately 🙂
