“Hi folks! I just handed over a suit case to a doctor I met in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. She’s a gynaecologist at the local hospital here but visits rural villages once a month. She’s going to bring the case with her. We opened it with her and went through what was in it. Gladys was like a kid in a candy store, she was so excited. She was SO thankful. I just didn’t know what to say. They have so little here. Sterilization is a big problem and they NEVER get disposable gauze pads, etc. She was THRILLED with the insulin needles and excitedly told me what a lot of the other stuff was for.. She will send me photos and details of the clinic when she goes there but I just thought I’d share this with you now. Know that you are doing a wonderful service for people who REALLY need it!
