“We had a wonderful time as usual and each time we feel closer to the people of Cuba. They are such wonderful unassuming people. They appreciate everything that comes their way, whether it is clothes, medication, books or old computers. Every time we have visited their clinics, they have been almost empty with bare shelves, and what you send has been welcomed and cherished.
I explained to them about your organization and that we only carry the supplies that you and your volunteers so lovingly put together. This time we had the taxi driver as interpreter and we spent a great deal of time at this small clinic. Dr.Mendoza sent you all her best wishes and thanks each and every one of you for your hard work and most of all for thinking of the Cuban people.
Our holiday only seems complete once we deliver these cases to those most in need.
