“We returned to the Policlinica Jose M. Ricardo in Canadon, Banes , Holguin with another suitcase . We were greeted again by Dr. Danilo Santiestaban Zaldivar who was so happy to again receive supplies from NJT. There is currently a shortage of needles and syringes as well as gloves and masks in Cuba. Also included in with the supplies was ultrasound gel which the Doctor said he currently did not have either and was really grateful to receive. On this trip we even brought a Doctor to the Clinic in the taxi who we picked up on the roadside ! Thank You again to NJT from the Cuban Medical Community who appreciate all the support that we are able to bring to them.”
