We had a wonderful trip. Our suitcase of medical supplies was not charged by Air Canada even with no pre arrangements. On the second leg of trip from Miami on American Airlines we were not so lucky.
Everything seemed to happen so easily. I only inquired about supplies to Roatan with Not Just Tourists a few days before leaving. I found out about Not Just Tourists on Facebook group for people interested in Roatan.
The place where we stayed, Fosters West Bay resort, were very helpful and happy when I mentioned I needed to find Clinica Esperanza. We went Monday morning and it was very crowded. It was hard to find parking. There were lots of young mothers in the back of the clinic. The Clinic has heard of Not Just Tourists.
We went to Utila right after that to get Scuba Diving Certified. After getting Scuba certified we went back to Roatan to explore the island. We got to hold sloths and monkeys. I would definitely take another larger suitcase next time.
