NJT – Manitoba – Winnipeg wishes to thank Janine and all of the Travellers who made a delivery of suitcases and supplies to Cuba. This is Janine’s letter to us and a photo of the delivery:
Last fall we travelled to Cuba and through NJT in Toronto were able to collect and deliver 7 suitcases of medical aid to Cuba, to the Hospital Julio M. Aristegui Villamil in Cardenas, Matanzas, which was greatly appreciated by the staff there.
We are now planning for our next trip which is leaving for Cuba on April 26. We are hoping to bring some suitcases from NJT Toronto and potentially Winnipeg too. I can get exact numbers of suitcases but likely around 15 suitcases for our Travellers.
Our trip will go to Havana and Santa Clara, and we have a specific visit to hospital “Arnaldo Milián Castro” in Santa Clara planned.
