“We successfully transported our suitcase to Cayo Coco, Cuba and delivered it to the local doctor who promised to deliver it to the main hospital in Morón, Cuba. I have attached pictures. Staff at our
hotel were very grateful and helpful and since most of them live in Moron and commute there. We exchanged information with the
local doctor who signed our document and took a picture, however it’s
been a week and she has still not provided photos she promised she
will take with the doctors in the hospital in Moron. Hopefully the
suitcase is there now, if not at least the contents, as they did also
mention that they need the suitcases themselves as well.
Also, for the record, we did insist that the suitcase makes it to
Moron, and not anywhere else, such as hotels, as we’d like the
contents to be used for the local population there.
Thanks again for providing the aid so well prepared and efficiently.
We’d be happy to be part of this again next year. We will also
continue to bring aid with our own suitcases to Cuba, which hopefully
makes it to the local population and aids people in need. It’s
horrible to hear people there could have fevers and headaches, or even
worse their children and be unable to treat that with a painkiller
such as Tyleon, which we have so widely available here and take for
granted.
Thank you again and all the best!
