We popped into both hospitals in Cusco on the list you had given me, and the 1st one (Josephine Sarrano) was not really marked in any way- just an “H” sign across the street pointing at some random doors, and nobody spoke any English (and my Spanish is less than par), so we went to the Regional hospital, and still had difficulty finding anyone who spoke English, but the Spanish page in the booklet (for customs) was a real help here. We ended up talking to 4 different people, and turns out the pharmacy accepted them for hospital distribution. ***this hospital is quite busy, with a lot of people running, so we did not manage to speak to the Emerg doctor as we had intended.
Nadine is by far the driving force behind us taking bags on our trips- she had arranged taking 12 down to Antigua after Irma wiped out Barbuda.
We did much in Peru- the country is so diverse in climate and archeological sites that you really need at least a couple weeks to do it justice. We did not get to see all of them, and we spent 6 days in Cusco! Pro tip: if anyone wants to visit Machu Picchu by train (not hole the Inca trail), tell them to spend the night in Aguas Calientes, then visit the next day. Doing the trip there and back all in one day is too much!
