“Please find attached the clinic information as well as a photo. I took my niece and nephews with me and one of the Doctors is also in the photo.
The clinic is a public hospital located in Las Terrenas, Samana province, Dominican Republic. A new hospital is currently being built and so they were operating out of a temporary facility. They don’t have a lot of equipment or supplies and mainly see traumas (from automobile accidents) and child birthing & care. (While we were there, a woman rode up as the passenger on a scooter holding her young child in one hand and an IV bag which was connected to the child in the other.) They were very appreciative of the supplies NJT was able to provide.
The airline was very accommodating of my extra bag and there was no issue at customs.
