@nicaheartbeat Recently posted to their Facebook Page, “Recently we were able to work with @notjusttourists and deliver first aid supplies to local health posts, Nica Heartbeat lifeguard program, the Red Cross, and Farmacia Iguana. Incredible teamwork across the continents to share needed supplies. At @farmacia_iguana we will use the materials on locals that cannot afford medical care. Lifeguards now have their first aid bags stocked and ready to help people! Thank you @notjusttourists_oc for your commitment to helping others.
On a side note, we will be out today from 8:00-5:00 with our main tower open the entire time. (Other posts will close 11:30-1:30)
Shout out to @derekthomasofficial for making a rescue at low tide on Thursday! The rip currents are out there so advise your guests to always check in with a lifeguard before swimming/surfing.
Farmacia Iguana will be open and available for medical attention from 9-5 with after hours for emergencies only.
