Huge thanks to repeat traveler Moca-Maura for taking a suitcase to Belize! [NJT Toronto]
“As always, dropping the supplies made my trip that much more meaningful. I ended up on the Island of Caye Caulker in Belize. It was a small clinic, ran by the locals, providing services for locals and tourists.
They were incredibly thankful, kind and appreciative. They had mentioned that this was their first time ever receiving supplies from anyone and couldn’t believe there was an organization that does this.
It was important to me because I feel like I have traveled and seen enough countries that I am aware that not everyone has the same access to our materials. I made a promise to myself after visiting Nicaragua that I would never leave a country without leaving something of good behind. It just so happens that the countries I have visited in the past 2 years have benefited greatly from medical supplies. So thank you very much, I appreciate all the hard work that you and everyone does to make this possible.
Hope to bring another suit case the next adventure I go on!
Thanks again,
Moca-Maura”
