Everything went smoothly, especially because he had good local assistance and a driver. The the main doctor at the clinic, Dr Navas, didn’t recognize NJT nor expected the donation; however he was definitely happy to receive it. Unfortunately, he has serious health issues himself but he’s still working at the clinic most of the days.
Being involved with NJT and being able to help out the community on otherwise a pleasure trip was definitely a highlight of the week. We hope to make more trips being not just tourists!
