“The clinic where I delivered the medical supplies is in Old Havana, a touristic area. It is an emergency clinic where doctors can be found after 5PM. Regular clinics are open only until 5PM. The doctor who received the supplies promised to distribute the supplies where they are needed in the clinic.
I learned about NJT from a review on tripadvisor.ca and I thought it was a good idea to be more than just a tourist when traveling. It is an interesting experience to get involved with the locals and learn about their lives and struggles. I hope my contribution helped the clinic a bit; it definitely impacted me as I was very happy to add this to my experience.”
