“The Oscar de la Renta paediatric hospital in Veron, a suburb of Punta Cana, was thrilled with our 3 suitcases of donated supplies!
We learned that although they have only been open 18 months, they have treated 50,000 children FOR FREE. They need these donations!
The facility is sparkling clean with facilities for x-ray, lab, vaccinations, dental care and 24 hour emergency care, staffed by physicians. We were also delighted to learn they have an ambulance to take serious cases to Higuey. Nice to note the ambulance was donated by the Rotary Club of Toronto. “- Karen W, NJT Toronto
