Travellers Joan, Jarg, and Lucie delivered 3 suitcases to Matanzas Children’s Hospital in Cuba!
Here’s what Joan shared with us about their experience:
“Thanks for your help in organizing three suitcases to donate in Cuba! Jarg, Lucie and I took them to Matanzas Children’s Hospital on Wednesday and the doctors there were very grateful. They were delighted to look through the bags and find the stethoscopes, sutures, syringes and all the other things. They would be grateful for any other assistance that you can send along with future tourists. They took us on a tour of the hospital and it was very interesting. Bare bones facilities, but fascinating and highly engaged staff. It was so meaningful for us!”
