Traveller delivery to Tanzania and it was an amazing experience

Another successful delivery!

Hi Simone,

I hope you are doing great. We are back from our trip to Tanzania and it was an amazing experience. We got the two suitcases of medical supplies through without any issue whatsoever. The customs people just wanted to be sure we were not bringing in expired medication. So if you have other suitcases going to Tanzania again I don’t think there needs to be a concern. Our contact at the village called the airport authorities to give them a heads up the supplies were coming so I don’t know if that helped. Maybe something to suggest to other tourists you partner with if they have a contact at the destination.

We are so grateful for your work to help these places in need and this clinic was certainly one of those. This is the Olmot Clinic in a Maasai village in north eastern Tanzania called Enduimet. They had almost no supplies/medicine. They birth a child every 2 days. It is very difficult to imagine how little these villagers have until you see it with your own eyes.

My sister, Barbara, who picked up the suitcases from you has the paperwork which the clinic staff completed, but I just wanted to forward these couple of photos. Barbara will have other photos that are similar and may be better to use on your website.

I hope to talk soon. Thank-you for the opportunity to help these people that are in so much need.

Cheers
Cathy
