Hello NJT- Calgary, we have returned from our trip to Cayo Coco and it was fantastic as usual. The 4 suitcases were so very much by appreciated!!
Our friend Noel, on the left of the picture, delivered them himself again. He said as they opened them up someone ran in, looked through the bags and grabbed something then ran to the ICU. He told us it was an emergency and that no doubt we saved a life that day…. Whether that be completely accurate or not, this is why we bring things to this country, never really knowing the exact impact but knowing how much it’s needed and appreciated. As you are aware, life there hasn’t been easy and it’s only gotten tougher. Thank you for all you do to make this happen!
And we were prepared to pay for the bags on Sunwing but we’re surprised that WestJet now requires special paperwork to be filled out ahead of time and the lady told us it probably wouldn’t be paid for anyway even being humanitarian goods. We didn’t hesitate to pay for them all but good to know.
We look forward to going back again next year and will be in touch. Keep up the good work! We sure do appreciate you! â¤ï ̧ð·
