Not Just Tourists Toronto traveller, Tracy S. and her family took 2 NJTT suitcases to Varadero. Her daughters, Marabelle and Lily took carry on luggage to give their luggage allowance for the NJTT suitcases. They were thrilled to know that one of the suitcases contained Paediatric Medical supplies.
The family took a classic pink convertible to reach the small Emergency Clinic at Avienda Playa and 28th in Varadero.
Tracy said “We used the Spanish copy of the NJT letter to explain the NJT program. The Doctor was extremely grateful for our donation and showed us the emergency room and spoke about the shortages of every type of medical supplies and repeatedly thanked us and we promised to spread the word in hopes that other Canadian travellers can take part in the NJT program and bring Medical supplies. My husband and I spoke with Marabelle and Lily after about how important it is to help those in need.”
