Traveller Jane delivered a suitcase to Policlínico Ramon Martinez in Santa Marta, Cuba!
Here’s what Jane shared with us about their experience:
“I gave the list of clinics to our guide and she suggested this clinic near Matanzas that was in real need. The clinic was delighted to get the supplies and thanked us profusely. You could tell from the clientele that they were a very poor clinic in need of assistance. The clinic itself was quite large and mostly lit by natural light, as there were power shortages, so it made the clinic seem dark.
My husband and I decided to take these supplies to Cuba because we have travelled there several times and love the country and the people. They are very hard working, and through no fault of their own, are very much in need of even the basics. We were very happy to be able to help in some small way.”
