On Jan 1st, my partner Brad and I travelled from Winnipeg to Cayo Coco Cuba. We connected with the hotel’s on site Doctor to inquire about where to bring the humanitarian bag and they recommended the Hospital Provincial Roberto Rodríguez Fernández in Morón.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to make the trip to Morón and the doctor kindly offered to bring the bag. The Doctor was truly grateful, saying that the hospital would make good use of all of the items including the catheters for the urology unit.
Previously we have gone on several other hot getaways and always felt something was missing from our travels. This experience has filled that void – to provide necessary aid to regions that are less fortunate. It was a good way to start off 2026. We hope to do this again.
